Akadēmeia: mid-15th-century Achademie, “the classical Academy”, properly the name of the public garden where Plato taught at his school, comes from Old French (modern French Académie) and directly from Latin Academia, from Greek Akadēmeia “the Academy; the grove of Akadēmos”, a legendary Athenian from the accounts of the Trojan War (his name, Latinized as Academus, apparently means “of a silent district”), who was the original owner of the estate.
The academy was established in 2016, although it was originally called the Little Butterfly Center, with a focus on healing. In January 2024, the founders restructured the academy, shifting its focus to teaching and offering a more mentoring-based approach.
Previously, there were two learning paths: the Self-Mastery Path for developing healing and spiritual skills, and the Cosmic Dancer Path for learning the language of symbolic descriptions. The founders determined that this division might discourage students from exploring both paths, as each offered essential qualities: self-mastery in the former and embodiment in the latter. To encourage a more holistic approach, they restructured and renamed not only the paths, but also key elements of the system and cosmology.
The new names were created using the language of symbolic descriptions, serving a dual purpose: to exemplify the use of language and to infuse the materials with cosmic vibrations. These new terms appear throughout the manuals and study materials.
